I decided to go over the very charming Anne Siang Hill in the outskirts of Chinatown, where artsy retail shops, food kiosks, cafes, pubs, and office spaces are located. This place, despite being covered by commercial establishments and offices evokes a serene feel. Pre-war shop houses are maintained leaving no traces of dilapidation.  Peranakan houses still stands, and very much preserved.  This is one destination I recommend worth visiting for.
